Kristie was born in Pittsburgh PA and relocated to Northern Virginia in her mid-twenties to begin her real estate career with the goal to develop a solid reputation as the go-to resource for real estate. Kristie believes the caliber of an agent is measured in honesty, experience, knowledge and referral success so she strives for excellence in all categories. She’s tough as nails and sweet as honey plus a mastermind during negotiations. Fast forward, her goal has come to fruition. She is in the top 15% of agents in her firm and has been recognized among Washingtonian’s Best as well as Northern Virginia Magazine.
Kristie’s sister has served our nation in the US Army and her father is a Vietnam Veteran so one of the missions close to her heart is helping military families. She has a special understanding of the relocation process & service that military members need during transition. She supports Veterans organizations locally as well as across the United States.
Real estate aside, Kristie enjoys the DC Metro culture exploring restaurants, artistic performances and local spa getaways. She is ‘mom’ to two toy Yorkies and supports the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria.
Meg Winkler was raised in Florida and learned real estate early when she acquired four properties by age 26. She transitioned to Fairfax County to be near family and for the next decade worked in education focusing on the underserved population. She realized there was something special about the people and the city of DC.
After participating in multiple small apartment building purchases, cap rate learnings, landlording and renovations, she acquiesced to the real estate exam. Her love for people and education met her love for real estate. Meg grew into a top producing agent in varying markets: couples searching the suburbs for their next family friendly home or city dwellers on all budgets wanting to be dazzled by city life.
All of Meg’s clients benefit from her wisdom regarding value versus cost, reasons and returns on investment and ultimately assisting them with an informed, high quality decision leading them to live an even higher quality of life.
Along with real estate, in the last five years Meg has enjoyed rescuing and fostering parvo puppies, enabling them to heal and be placed in loving families in DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia areas.
